Create-a-god! contest entry for Seventh Sanctum
[link]
My entry for the contest started with this description...
"This kind goddess of sorcery takes the form of an older woman. She has an angular build. She has silver hair worn in a style that resembles a strange set of spines. Her narrow eyes are mauve. She has tan skin. She is usually portrayed as wearing an unusual suit of armor that is mostly white in color, and which incorporates irregular designs. She carries a shield. She has a strong chin. She is surrounded by a strange aura that gives glimpses into other dimensions."
This is my first standing person sculpture, and also manulipulated the photo to show her "strange aura" The little pics in the aura were of mine and also one from stock xchange

She has white armor that glistens with faint colors of the rainbow and fishnet stockings.
THE GOOD:
Highly creative work, as usual. The use of photoshopping to enhance the statue is also a neat idea I think you could focus on in the future - REALLY combined media.
The consistent star imagery provides a good theme.
TO CONSIDER:
The idea of the glistening armor-of-colors is nice, but I think that doesn't quite come through. It looks more just multicolored (an idea would have been more subtle colors or do it via photoshopping).
TO IMRPOVE:
The attempt to get the weird aura is sort of overdone - it's hard to figure out the background. You may have gotten a bit overenthused with going wild.
Ive got it fixed now!!!!
